Hello HH blog readers! Please allow me to introduce myself .
Primarily a self-taught metalsmith, I was raised and grew up surrounded by creative souls. Sculptors and furniture makers, painters and potters, dancers and musicians were my community. And I had two uncles in the diamond cutting business! It’s been a thrill to walk in the creative footsteps of Westons, our friends and associates. Having a creative profession has made every day rich and enjoyable.
Throughout decades spent at my jeweler’s bench, I’ve been driven to explore all kinds of techniques and materials, adding them to my “bag of tricks.” This has given me the freedom to say, “If I can imagine it, I can create it.” Today, I bring nearly six decades of bench experience to my role as Chief Goldsmith at Hamilton Hill, but imagination is the most valuable skill I have and can offer to the HH community. The ability to visualize possibilities and help clients understand and see them means there are few limits to what can be created for you.
I invite you to bring me your ideas and requests! Share your visions and desires. Bring your stones and metals, too! I will put pencil to paper (yes, we do it the GOOD old-fashioned way) and we’ll sketch and dream together. The sky’s the limit!
